Meet the Goldheart Assembly, who we played with at Reading and Leeds last year. Great band, fear our gig schedules conflict, but we hope we can do some shows together soon. Giddiness ensues at various locations around town, I eat the best cream corn known to man and sample the Texan dirty martinis. Been looking forward to this moment ; Edwyn Collins playing in a tiny club called Nuvelo. Great set, very nice telecaster tone and an unexpected chance to meet the man himself. [...]
