In the Summertime is the closing track from the indie-rock trio's debut full-length album Hometowns , independently released in early 2008 and then re-released on July 7th of this year following the band's signing with Saddle Creek Records . Recommended Wednesday Show: Rural Alberta Advantage and Kittens Ablaze at Bowery Ballroom If you didn't manage to get tickets to Sufjan (to hear his cool new classical project, BQE), then I'd suggest hitting up the Rural Alberta Advantage/Kittens Ablaze Show. RAA recently got signed to Saddle Creek (Conor Oberst's old label) and will probably have a nice, long career ahead of them.
