Unsere australischen Lieblings-Synthie-Poper Cut Copy haben einen neuen Song am Start. Die Band arbeitet gerade an ihrem dritten Langspieler (Vö. Anfang 2011, Making-Of-Video siehe unten), dem Nachfolger zu ihrer grandiosen Platte "In Ghost Colours". Cut Copy are going to be back soon. Their 3rd album is on the way. Not a great deal of live dates, but give them time. It'll come soon enough. Just the news that they have finished making the album is good enough to have a cup of coffee and a biscuit to. Lean back in your chair and smile. Idag meddelar Cut Copy att inspelningen av deras tredje och för tillfället icke namngivna skiva är slutförd. Enbart slutarbetet återstår att göra vilket kommer att ske i slutet på sommaren då de avslutat sin turné, vilken bland annat innefattar ett stopp på Emmabodafestivalen. Mix och mastring göras tillsammans med Ben Allen som tidigare jobbat med bland annat Gnarls Barkley och Animal Collectives Merriweather Post Pavillion . Den australiensiska trion släppte 2008 albumet In Ghost Colours som landade högt upp på i princip varenda årsbästalista i världen.
