It's been a few years since French duo Air's latest release, but the wait has been worth it. Their fourth and new studio album (and sixth in general), Pocket Symphony, is a testament to just how versatile the dynamic these French guys have become. The great strength of the band is its ability to create such moving, pretty tunes without them ever becoming foreseen. Produced again by Nigel Godrich (Radiohead, U2, REM), Pocket Symphony isn’t life-changing, or genre-defining, but it is thoroughly enjoyable and classy - perfect for soundtracks.
