When I read that there was a new Perfume Genius song out, I stopped everything I was doing and gave it my full attention. He released what was, hands down, one of the best albums of the year (in my opinion), so even the thought of new material gives me the goosebumps. Perfume Genius, born under the name Mike Hadreas, is known for his ability to make heartbreak beautiful through trembling piano playing and a voice that, though aged with pain, sounds pleasing to the ears.
