I've not had nearly enough time to get as much 2011 posts up as i'd like to. As usual it's a culmination of many things preventing me. Lack of time, work, family, friends and a new addition to the reasons.....jamming. My old band "The Gorecki" have got back together. So we've been busy jamming and rehearsing new tracks and i've been spending a lot of time writing some new material for both "The Gorecki" and for an other upcoming boy/girl project i have planned with one of my best friends. More news on that to follow though. If [...]
Glasgow, Scotland's Errors have it made on the NME best list this year. The group's last release was a solid remix EP featuring bands like Mogwai, and Gold Panda. Their last video, "A Rumour In Africa" is a pumped up electro track; although, we can't possibly go through watching it one more time (even though we love the track: the video of a man controlling puppet women--a kind of bleakly pictured robert palmer wannabe, frankly creeped us out). Earlier this year they released "Come Down With Me" and in the past they've [...]
Errors are coming to the end of their UK and Ireland tour this week with a show tonight in Dublin and tomorrow in Belfast. Their new album was released on March 1 to universal acclaim. Steev Livingstone spoke with us recently ahead of the Dublin show and new European tour dates in April and May. European [...]
Tonight I`ve something like a premiere you! We`ve never had something out of Scottland for you.. So take your 3minutes and 26 seconds and do something useful for your well-being! Whilst you can get your kicks at pretty much any festival this year, why not try something a little, well, smaller? Though London's Field Day is swamped in terms of size by the likes of Glastonbury, Reading and all the other giant musical events, Field Day is always one of, if not the most enjoyable festivals of late.

Sarà come smettere un vizio, come vedere nello specchio riemergere un viso morto, come ascoltare [...]

The new album from Glasglow's Errors would be out soon, and I am really liking this latest single. See there are so many dance-rock crossovers but none of them are as deep and at the same time funky like Errors. Their music is beautifully layered with their label bosses' Mogwai sort of shoegaze/post-rock sounds, add in those very delightful disco inspired kickdrums. You will understand after you've heard those ambient noises going so perfectly with the funky beats. Peep the video and I've got the 2 latest songs. [...]
By Miguel Banuelos Happy 2009! As great as 2008 was, we are already digging into what should be a great year in British music. So let's get right to it… One of the worst things that 200 brought us was the surprise stroke that afflicted Long Blondes ' guitarist, Dorian Cox. With that news came the unfortunate break-up of the band, and some serious AEC heartache. But the new year has good news, not only has Cox begun to regain the use of [...]

I present the next music video countless fourteen-year-olds will be copying in their own personal YouTube videos. Well, that is if countless fourteen-year-olds listened to the Glasgow band Errors. Alright, it's not exactly OK Go on treadmills , but this video is a pretty creative use of dance moves and stop-motion camerawork. Plus, how the crowd in the background reacts to what the band is doing is just great. "Pump" comes off of Errors' latest record, It's Not Something But It Is Like Whatever , which is out [...]
