Lianne La Havas is our favorite new singer. Lianne's got in her singing just the right mixture of soul, taste, diction, restraint, and melody. That sort of appears-once-a-year mixture that makes her someone you need to keep an eye to. I'm not sure what it is exactly, but all the Parisians I know seem to exude a coolness that's just not possible for us london folk. A certain je ne sais quoi, if you will. (urgh, yes I just said that...) Back in August we had an artist called Lianne La Havas perform an amazing set at Oh! Inverted World. A couple of weeks after that Lianne went to Paris and recorded a Takeaway show for the phenomenal guys at La Blogothèque . This is the beautiful result:
