Clues are hints, promises, secrets. Clues are summertime jams, funeral rites, apocalypse. Clues is the new rock'n'roll band of Alden Penner, Brendan Reed and Bethany Or. And this was their coming-out party.

Ex-Unicorn Alden Penner debuted his new band at Pop Montreal in the Birks Chapel this past Sunday night. The Secret Unicorns Forum already has the show uploaded in their bootleg section, but the audio quality gets in the way of the songs. Apparently, the band played very loud and the entire experience was "awkward" and "strange." I'm just glad to see Alden making music again. Here's a preview sampler of songs off their new record.
