Baltimore band Lower Dens finally release Nootropics this week after much well-deserved hype. The record is catchy as hell and it wouldn't surprise me if "Sebastian" turns into the Summer 2012 "Pumped Up Kicks" phenomenon. So after waiting what seems like an entirety Reptar's full album is available to stream now on YouTube. I have to say it's a first seeing an album streamed this way for myself but it seems to work, A cool concept and the layout looks great. As for the album. Well, it's surely rating high for me. Reptar has spent the past year or so building up a considerable base of support, due both to their inescapably catchy indie gems like "Stuck In My Id" and an expansive touring schedule. Their anticipated debut full-length album, Body Faucet , has been a long time coming but is due in exactly one week. Luckily for everyone waiting on it, in a partnership with Comedy Central, the Athens, GA band has put up the full album to stream online early. You can hear the whole thing below right now.
For me, this album has been on my much anticipated and must purchase list for quite some time. Ever since I got my hands on Reptar's Oblangle Fizz Y'all EP I have been waiting for a full-length feature by them, and today it looks like we officially have our chance to listen to this album in all it's glory courtesy of the band and this fabulous youtube app that allows you to skip through and play whatever track you wish. Reptar is pretty fucking awesome, and just today they've released their album for streaming on youtube. This process is becoming more popular for artists and I think its cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v =fMr8d8fvzAw Also, the album is rad. I can't really tell what track i'm on, when i'm on it after a few minutes of working/listening goes by. but if you like their EP, then you'll like this.
