It seems fitting that post-bop jazz trio BADBADNOTGOOD continues to climb the ranks, just as I really find myself discovering the world of bebop music. While their music doesn't totally resemble that of Thelonious Monk and other leaders of the original bop movement, BBNG have created a lane of their own, creating jazz music that is both creative and accessible. BBNG posted more footage from their hometown show last month in Toronto. This time it's the jazz heads covering the A$AP Rocky track "Peso" . Everything they remake sounds so amazing. I want to hear original material, but hearing the way they flip classic material or even recent songs is just too enjoyable. If you can fuck with instrumental music, get down with this now.
