Video: Hot Chip - Night & Day

I am generally excited about all things Hot Chip but the first taste (" Flutes ") of upcoming LP In Our Heads felt uninspired. "Night & Day" feels like it's definitely moving in the right direction and even has this weirdo fun video too. Love the muscle dudes' moves. Are we gonna get a sequel?

Hot Chip 's boy-band-parodying video for "I Feel Better" is one of the most hilariously WTF music videos so far this year. But, now it's got some competition ... from another Hot Chip video, this time for "Night & Day". For both videos the UK electro-disco-pop band partnered with British comedian Peter Serafinowicz for hilarious results. The "Night & Day" video features some monks worshiping an egg-shaped idol through interpretive dancing and also has supermodel Lara Stone and comedian/singer Reggie Watts dueling in flying saucers. Hot Chip have released the music video for the first single Night & Day from their upcoming album In Our Heads , directed by Peter Serafinowicz (who also directed I Feel Better ). In Our Heads is out on June 12th, pre-order the album HERE and catch the band on tour through September.

The video for Hot Chip's new track Night & Day (Directed By Peter Serafinowicz) was officially uploaded today. BBC 6Music have been hammering this tune and I can't blame them; even the old punk in work is starting to dig a bit of Hot Chip.

Hot Chip have always had some pretty wonderful videos with a larger than not production value, but this new one looked like it cost a poop ton of cash, am I right? Reggie Watts DOES NOT come cheap... I bet.
