Video: James Talk & Ridney - West End girls (2009) (Radio Mix) - Release Date: August 3rd 2009

The Pet Shop Boys first hit and probably their best tune gets a housey makeover from James Talk & Ridney and plenty of airplay from Radio 1's Pete Tong, West End Girls was one of my fave tunes and I can still remember wondering what the hell the video was all about, now in the 'naughties' its ramped up, stripped of vocals (shame) and gone all beepy. Most remixes of chart tunes normally sound cheesey and crap, but this little number gets away with it, such as it's kicking the floors in Ibiza as we speak.
