We know some of you couldn't make it out to Studio B Saturday night for the New York by New York party. So, here's a comprehensive roundup of full-length clips from Of Montreal's double-set at Studio B, including three we just uploaded for ya. In case you forgot, OM opened with an awesome set of their own, and here's our proof: "Suffer For Fashion." This past Saturday was the kick-off of New York magazine's series of events called New York by New York. An Of Montreal performance was followed by a lengthy karaoke sesh hosted by Michael Showalter as a hilarious and awkward amalgam of Alan Shemper (the endearing, 78 year old Catskills comedian, played by Showalter, in Wet Hot American Summer) and, well, Michael Showalter. On Saturday night, we traveled to Brooklyn's Studio B for "Indie Rock Karaoke ," during which the justifiably beloved (and somewhat nutty) Of Montreal played backing band to several aspiring singers. One of them was 40-Year-Old Virgin star--and former Nintendo pitchman -- Paul Rudd , who belted out Boston's "More Than A Feeling" with Wet Hot American Summer director David Wain (we misheard Wain's name at first, and so we were somewhat disappointed when he turned out not to be the guy who played Homey the Clown).
