A weird ass video for a weird ass song from the album Dragonslayer . Video directed by Throneboogie . » Buy it on Amazon
A Storm of Light - "Tempest" [...]
Sunset Rubdown 's Dragonslayer may not have been as good as Shut Up I Am Dreaming and Random Spirit Lover, adding to the fact that "official" music videos weren't really done for either album. It seems to fit that a music video for Black Swan - not the greatest track on Sunset Rubdown's third album was done. Before I end up making it sound like the song sucks, which it doesn't the music video is pretty good. It's one of those artistic types (which I prefer) and while there's nothing that makes it wildly significant or has me [...]
"Black Swan" straight from their Jagjaguwar release, Dragonslayer . Video directed by Throneboogie. This video is epic and awesome and wins the 'Best usage of the itunes visualizer since 20042 award.
Strange and trippy are two words that have been stapled to the forehead of Sunset Rubdown for most of their musical lifespan and their newest video for 'Dragonslayer' track Black Swan doesn't disappoint in openly reinforcing and reveling in those very two adjectives.
I'm not sure but this probably is the first Sunset Rubdown music video I have encountered. Their songs are good but I was hoping the video to be better. This song on the other hand is rocket science. 4 / 5 stars! (mp3) Sunset Rubdown - Black Swan But their album at Amazon . How'd I do?

i've been upset with the super furry animals since 2005 when they released love kraft sans dvd, but sadly the band hasn't looked back since. well this video for sunset rubdown's "black swan" is taking me back to those late nights spent watching the phantom power or rings around the world dvds on loop. come on jagjaguwar... put throneboogie on retainer. let's see a full album of these... in 5.1... that would be awesome. video: sunset rubdown - black swan ... I believe this is the first ever Sunset Rubdown video. I like it, but perhaps it could have been a little better. Amazing song though!

Some new vids from Sunset Rubdown and Black Moth Super Rainbow, both of which seem appropriate for the upcoming Fall (aka Halloween time) season. The summer is almost over school is back and the leaves in the park are just beginning to turn. more about " Black Moth Super Rainbow - Tooth Decay ", posted with vodpod Black Moth Super Rainbow-Tooth Decay [...]

Strangely this is my least favorite song on Dragonslayer (maybe second least favorite), and one of the two songs least conducive to being a single. Odd. Anyways, the song isn't a bad tune, just not my favorite off of the excellent Dragonslayer . At any rate, enjoy.
