P.O.S. has posted a live-in-the-studio video for "Bumper." The song is the first single from his upcoming album, We Don't Even Live Here which is due out October 23, 2012 . It's his first solo album since Never Better in 2009 though he was part of the Doomtree collective which released No Kings last year.

It really doesn't get much better than P.O.S. The guy has a stellar live show, and all three of his LPs (especially Audition , which topped my album list back in 2006) are worth any amount of time you'll give them. His upcoming effort is titled We Don't Even Live Here , and its list of guests includes Bon Iver, Gayngs, and more. Rhymesayers will release it on October 23. Enjoy. : POS - Bumper : This song is killer. And to be honest, that's all I want to say about it. [...]
Been a P.O.S. fan for a bit but something about this song is doing a lot of good things for me. Can't wait for the new album. We Don’t Live Here Anymore is set for release on October 23rd via Rhymesayers and will feature guest spots from Bon Iver, Boyz Noize, Doomtree and more. Check it out!
Three years is a long time to go without any new P.O.S. We've had the recent pleasure of hearing his work as part of hip-hop collective Doomtree and indie super-group Gayngs , but these features haven't come close to the genius of the Minneapolis artist's 2009 breakout album, Never Better . To put it in the words of Stefon Alexander himself, we're so thirsty for more . Enter "Bumper," the first single off P.O.S.' upcoming album, We Don't Live Here Anymore . "Bumper" finds [...]

one of my favorite hip-hop record in recent memory comes courtesy of minneapolis' pos, and his 09 release never better . he's got a new one comin out on 10.23 entitled we dont even live here which you can pre-order here in a varying array of packages. definitely looking forward to this as p.o.s. and his rhymesayer crew is breath of fresh air in an otherwise tiring genre - at least imo. not so much tiring, but just a bunch of fucking copycats, talkin shit and saying nothing. ive also included the new brother ali [...]

With collaborations from Boyz Noise & Housemeister on “Weird Friends,” to the vocals of Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon on “Where We Land,” the release of We Don't Even Live Here on October 23rd is probably going to be the best thing to ever happen, aside from you being there [...]

Good music keeps oozing from the pores of the Hip-Hop Heavyweights over at Rhymesayers Entertainment . Aesop Rock just released another stellar album last month; Brother Ali is releasing his new album in September, and now it has been announced that P.O.S. will release his fourth studio album - We Don't Even Live Here - on October 23rd. According to the press release I read, We Don't Even Live Here will favor more futuristic beats influenced by the Euro club scene. Even though P.O.S. is going to keep his Hip-Hop roots grounded by collaborating [...]

Minneapolis underground hip-hop artist P.O.S. has announced details of his new LP, We Don't Even Live Here , which will see the rapper collaborate with Justin Vernon of Bon Iver , Gayngs member Ryan Olson and German technohead Boys Noize . 'Bumper' is the first single off the new album, which is due for release on October 23rd via Rhymesayers, and was recently performed live for Pitchfork TV. 1. Bumper 2. Fuck Your Stuff [...]

This morning delivered one of the best possible surprises with the official lead single to P.O.S's upcoming album, We Don't Even Live Here , due on October 23. I'm pretty sure I've seen "Bumper" played live once or twice — I've definitely heard the brilliant "They on some nonsense, we on some nonstop" hook before — but getting to dissect the studio version is exciting as it hints at what we can expect from the album, which you can read about further on in this post. I am hoping to publish something every day this week and so I had been kind of nervous about what I was going to talk about today. And then I saw this: Which I'm PRAYING is on his new album We Don't Even Live Here which comes out on Sept. 18. Actually, even if it's not, that's ok. This is the caliber of material he's making and that bodes VERY well [...]
