There's not much similarity between Peaches and Donna Summer content wise, but nowadays Peaches definitely seems to be revamping her image a little bit, casting herself as some kinder, gentler freaktronica rap diva. Even beyond the fact that the vocal melody of "I Feel Cream" recalls "I Feel Love," Peaches spends the clip in futuristic dress, and bathed in a pastel, ethereal glow that suggests she's on a different plane than the rest of us. "Cream" has always been one of my favorites from the bunch, due in large part to the song's lush synthesizers and pulsating disco energy. Appropriately, the video takes a hint from the track, featuring a rather subdued Ms. Nisker voguing against an array of bright lights and neon colors like no other anti-disco diva before her. [...]
