When creating our 4/20 podcast a few weeks ago, we were looking for a dubstep track to include. Random google searching landed me listening to a song by  Cypress Hill  and EDM artist  Rusko . Not being able to find many details, I had no idea this was a new song. The two have teamed up for a new EP, with this being the first single. Legendary hip-hop group Cypress Hill is teaming up with dubstep’s white knight Rusko for a collaboration project Cypress x Rusko due out in April. So by now you probably have heard the newest collaboration between dubstep producer / DJ Rusko, and hip hop group Cypress Hill. The audio for the song  was very sick, and created a fresh sound that pleases dubstep fans but also would make a huge hip hop hit, and one I wouldn't mind listening to. This video is very sick, filled with a high speed mixture of shots of Cypress and Rusko playing in a moving train while mountains, trees, and other objects outside of them gets blown apart and pieced together with lots of visually stunning effects. I was feeling really skeptical yesterday when this video came to my inbox, initial thoughts were that if it would be the new trainwreck-combo like Korn and Skrillex & etc (and also, I had a wholeday nostalgia trip yesterday with Symphony of the Night, so I wasn't to bothered to be honest checking my mail). Cypress Hill and Rusko have that futuristic marijuana music for all you spacey potheads out there. While I didn't think a collaboration between Cypress Hill and dubstep producer Rusko was going to be all that fruitful, I have to admit, "Roll It, Light it" was pretty well executed. To accompany the song we have some chaotic visuals that go perfectly with this banger. Cypress x Rusko is set to drop some time in April.

Looks like the Cypress Hill x Rusko video finally dropped! This shit is DOPE! It's really well done and has some really great editing and graphics! Totally diggin the vibe. I have a feeling we'll be seeing more Hip Hop / Dubstep team ups this year! Hopefully they are done solid like this tune, instead of people like Kanye and Jay-z straight jackin beats! " Roll It, Light It " is the first song we've heard from the upcoming Rusko and Cypress Hill collaborative EP and now it has a shiny new visual accompaniment which takes the whole product to the next level.
