Happy Sunday! Local Natives - Airplanes Lil' Wayne, Eminem & Drake - Drop The World/Forever -- this version doesn't have the 15 second blank spots that the Grammys were kind enough to grace us with last Sunday... The xx - VCR This next vid is pretty dope - it shows how Swizz Beats turned ...
Posts relacionados: [...]
The Grammy's have always been overrated in terms of the categories and who wins but I definitely enjoy watching them for the performances. Unfortunately, this year we had someone at CBS with a happy censor finger and instead of hearing the collaboration of the year you heard nothing, especially for us east-coasters. I was looking [...]
I don't know why this so heavily censored in the US. It's hardly like he swears or even uses any bad language. I doubt it would be censored at all in the UK, especially a performance like this with no expletives. Anyway the nice Italians decided it wasn't worth censoring, so here it is where you can actually hear the music. Why did Drake use autotune at all though? It didn't sound right on the chorus and sounded horrible on the verse

I never made it 'til this performance last night as I nodded off when Slash entered the stage during the Jamie Foxx and T-Pain performance. 'Drop This World' is easily the best track off "Rebirth" mostly thanks to the great production by Hit-Boy & Chase N. Cashe (will unleash my review of the album in a few hours, stay tuned). However, here's the uncensored version of the Lil Wayne x Eminem x Drake performance for those who also missed it: As an extra treat, received this remix of Drake's 'Forever' some days ago [...]
Seems like we've been here before , Grammy's. The award show is teetering on the edge of exploitation. Follow me here. The Grammy head honchos know where their bread is buttered. They know that Hip-Hop is at the forefront of the musical landscape, so their headline performance (for the second year in a row, mind you) comes from Hip-Hop artists. Yet, where is the music represented in the awards? No album of the year nominations and most of the category's awards were given out off-camera. It's like they know that the [...]
For anyone who caught the entire three-and-a-half hour escapade that was the 52nd annual Grammy Awards last night, it was filled with upsets, upstarts, shocks, awes and a lot of pretty noteworthy things. For those of you who caught the...
via Nahright It's amazing how much they censored them in comparison to actual curse words that needed to be censored. I really wish Kanye was there though, so we could see Taylor Swift rap to his verse (FTW!).

Lil Wayne and Eminem performed 'Drop The World', then Drake made his Grammy debut and they did 'Forever' with Travis Barker on the drums. This is the uncensored version of the performance, as everybody who watched it live knows that CBS overdid the edits of the song and ruined the performance. Those who watched the Grammys last night know that the evening's closing performance was censored by CBS with the avidity of Tipper Gore attempting to set a 2 Live Crew record on fire. Whoever ... This will be the last Grammy post, I promise. If you missed any of the performances check them out here . If you were watching on TV, then you must probably noticed how ridiculous the censoring was during the Travis Barker, Lil Wayne, Eminem, and Drake portion. When they anticipated a swear word being used, CBS muted the volume for a good 5 seconds, causing millions of Americans to hit their television to make sure it was working. (Because every American knows that if something is wrong with your television, you hit it). The censoring really fucked [...]
