Another cut from the "Every Mother Counts 20123 compilation, this time by Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros. This one right here is not the joyfull hippie tune we are used to but has a more intimate vibe. Still very nice tune!

From mega-band Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeroes‘ second album, Here , is the video for ‘Mother,’ a supremely nostalgic, grainy shot video (directed by frontman Alex Ebert) featuring everything you think the group would do in their downtime: play in fields, hold hands, and breastfeed. I love my Mum but Mother's day in the UK has been and gone, so she's had her gift a while ago. I don't understand why the entire world can't just all pick a day and agree to celebrate the awesomeness of everyone's Mum all together, on the same day, you know?! Anyway in the spirit of Mother's day and as part of the Every Mother Counts benefit album, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have released a visual accompaniment for their contribution "Mother". While yesterday was Mother's Day and I thought of 2Pac 's "Dear Mama" as a fitting tribute post, another song/video related to the day had come out from Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes called "Mother." Well, it's only appropriate that Edward Sharpe would release his new video for "Mother" on mothers day and even more fitting that the entire video is made up of home footage of the guys chilling with their moms staring into their eyes in a field somewhere like we all do on Mother's Day.
