I'm not a big Radiohead fan and under normal circumstances you wouldn't see a post about them. However they did something I respect very much. Radiohead wrote a tribute song to Mr. Harry Patch, one of the last survivors of bloodiest war in human history - WWI. Harry fought in battles where 3,000 British troops fell next to him EVERY DAY. That means in one and a half days more of his colleagues

Radiohead have today put up a new track for download on their website . 'Harry Patch (In Memory Of)' is a tribute to the 111 year old First World War veteran who became a campaigner for soldiers' rights and chronicled the horrors of the Somme before his death last month. The track, which was debuted on BBC Radio 4's Today programme this morning, features first person lyrics inspired by an interview with Patch himself.
