Some great news from The Kooks landed in my inbox this morning. The curly haired Brits will be coming to NY on February 12th for an intimate show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg (tickets available here , password is KooksNY). Below is the tune that launched the indie kids onto the pop radar.

Gorgeous. One of the best bands to emerge in 2006 were The Kooks, perhaps an answer to Arctic Monkeys. Their sound, while loud and powerful, featured far more somber lyrics and content than Arctic Monkeys did, case in point being this track, "Naive".
