Trying to utilize social media, shazam, ping, last.fm, pandora's box of mp3s, and hypemachines to figure out what kind of music I will like without having to do tons of legwork. Feels good to live in this modern era. I have been listening to the hit Panda Bear song "Bros" a lot, so they recommended this sweet band to me called the Custom Kings. Wonder if they will become a 'highly bloggable buzzband.' Do u think this song sounds 'eerily similar' to Panda Bear's hit conceptual wave anthem "BROS"? Did they 'ripoff' BROS? [...]

And now comes, "You Can Count On Me", the second in the series of 7" singles from Panda Bear previewing his forthcoming album Tomboy , the much-anticipated follow-up to Person Pitch . A gentle duet between Panda Bear and himself, "You Can Count On Me" glimmers with third world melodic overtones, an ethereal uplifting number that is over before you become too familiar. "Alsatian Darn" on the other hand is a much different creature...a slightly foreboding track with an off-beat melancholy chord progression that occasionally lets the light break through with a jaunty [...]

Przeginasz, Jesus. I Did It Again dotarło do pierwszego miejsca UK Charts równo... 10, słownie dziesięć, lat temu?! Oznacza to na przykład, że: od spieprzonej adaptacji Lolity - ...Baby One More Time minęło lat 12 [dwanaście!], a od rewelacyjnego Toxic 6. A w międzyczasie były przecież dragi, dzieci, skandale, natrętni papa-paparazzi, oryginalne odczytanie adresu e-bielizna.com i całkiem niedawny (dwa lata) [...]

Gnnnnggggg.....what's this? This strange whistling...is it my brain or the kitchen appliances? Energy wavering....clocks running backwards...vomitous globes of ectoplasmic energy slowly cannibalising and regurgitating themselves outside my bedroom window...what the fuck? It can't be...can it? It is. Gnwwwiiip...I'm inside a rip in the space time continuum. OK Good. I was hoping for this. Now that the rules of time and space are getting diddled silly, I can fuck a few Animal Collective related albums into one position without explaining myself. [...]
Three Irish albums make it in to our penultimate count down, one from a new name, one from an old name and one from a name that was only with us for a frustratingly short while. Elsewhere there's a strong European and American feel, with only a loud mouth from Birmingham representing for the UK... Albums of the decade: 50-41 | 40-31 | 30-21 | 20-11 20. Sigur Ros – ( ) (2002) After being justifiably praised on high for 1999's Ágætis [...]
