A  new video came out last week for Yellow Ostrich 's "Marathon Runner" off Strange Land (Barsuk) featuring creepy kids in masks. Directed by Matthew Lessner - this video feels like a blast from the past with vague reference to what I believe is Freddie Kreuger or the Hulk- in short, it rules.

We've been following Yellow Ostrich for a number of years now. In fact Alex Schaaf was one of the first musicians to get in contact with us, that was back in the day when his project was called The Chairs. My how times have changed. Alex, the bedroom musician, is now a trio with Michael Tapper and Jon Natchez and the band is signed to the coveted Barsuk Records with two full length albums under their belt.
