I know this was on Pitchfork today so it isn't much of a "find" per se, and I blogged about a track by Best Coast a few months ago after hearing it on Gorilla vs. Bear. One of the things that separates Best Coast from the barrage of other lo-fi acts out there, is that even under all of the reverb, distortion and fuzz, you can still hear Bethany Cosentino's songwriting. That's even more evident in these two clips from The Tripwire where Best Coast performed two songs in a bathroom, next to a tub full of beer.
