As we mentioned previously, Australia's Tame Impala are visiting this side of the globe for a few festival dates, including Lollapalooza , Osheaga and Outside Lands . While in North America, the band will play a just-added NYC show at Music Hall of Williamsburg on August 7 . Tickets go on sale Friday, August 3 at noon. I get this e-mail in the middle of the night from Modular telling me about the new Tame Impala track (which was awesome) as well as a band called Pond and this video they are releasing for a song called "Moth Wings". I checked it out, obviously. It was weird as hell. No vídeo, imagens imóveis, bem aleatórias, tem só a boca mexendo cantando a letra da música, mesmo efeito utilizado nos famosos vídeos da Annoying Orange. Australia's POND give a whole new meaning to lip syncing with their new video for "Moth Wings" lifted from their debut album. POND are performing in this year's SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS festival next weekend from Byron Bay, NSW, Australia.

When several of the members of Tame Impala aren't cranking out infectious psych-rock as part of that band, they're going nuts in Pond. The Perth, Australia-based outfit shares some sonic similarities with their sister act (no Whoopi!), but Pond tends to rock a bit harder. Like on "Moth Wings", one of many highlights off this year's  Beard Wives Denim . They're still kind of trippy, though, which is made abundantly obvious in this track's video.
