Samsung - Armani SGH-P520 phone officially launched

When LG earlier this year launched their LG-Prada phone and Motorola launched their Dolce & Gabana phone, rival phone maker Samsung didn't have much to say on the these new phone maker & fashion designer alliances. Now Samsung does have something to say, with their officially launched Samsung Armani SGH-P9520 cellphone. The phone itself actually looks very svelte and offers appealing features, but I'll hold out for the as of yet unannounced Palm Treo - Sears Roebuck fashion phone. (more...)

VMware Fusion beta 1.1 (DirectX 9 support)

In the "anything you can do I can do better race" between Parallels and VMware Fusion, Parallels announced two weeks ago a new 3.0 feature update for the Mac and now its VMware Fusion's turn. With the release of Beta 1.1 VMware fusion is now offering experimental DirectX 9 support. In their initial VMware Fusion 1.0, only DirectX 8 and below applications were compatible. (more...)

"Messenger for the Web" is designed specifically when you're away from your own computer, but have access to the internet from another computer.
