Henrietta Game are an upcoming Irish band, who feature the most beautiful harmonies I've heard in local music since Damien Rice and Lisa Hannigan teamed up. Peter over at 2UIBestow has them lined up for his second 2uibestow Sessions in Boyle's, Slane, Co. Meath, and they're sure to put on a fantastic show. Henrietta Game are a new band full of massive potential. The four piece consist of Aongus Mac Amhlaigh (cello, vocals), Ali Baba (violin, vocals), Judy Macnamara (Glockenspiel, guitar, piano, vocals) and Chris Leech (guitar, piano, vocals). Henrietta Game make music that could easily be described as indie folk. The lyrics are meaningful and the vocal melodies are superb.
