Nowadays, you can just license a video game, throw in a few celebrity cameos and voices and let soak overnight in CGI animation and you have a Hollywood "spectacular." Allow me to be a grumpy old 22-year old for a moment-back in my day, that shit would not have flown. If you really wanted your production to be considered spectacular, you had to up the ante.
