Bay Stater post-rock band Caspian have given a release date of August 11 for their second studio album. Label The Mylene Sheath will be handling the release, the follow-up to their 2007 début The Four Trees. Ethan Dussault, former bassist for now defunct Massachusetts band Garrison, handled production duties on the record.

Caspian have announced that their next full length, Tertia , will be released August 11, 2009 by The Mylene Sheath. The band previously issued the vinyl versions of The Four Trees and You Are The Conductor via the label and will be releasing the CD with them as well.
