Lollapalooza is back with a line-up that's full of up-and-coming local acts, legitimate buzz bands, arena rockers and a few head scratchers. So, we here at Loud Loop figured you might need some help deciding which bands to check out and which to avoid. And of course you know the Black Sabbath, The Black Keys and the Chili Peppers, so we won't waste your time on them. Instead, these are our picks for can't-miss acts those other eight hours this Friday, Saturday and Sunday... [...]

( Image ) My stomach hurts and my throat is on fire. I wish I could sit on the toilet and re-read all seven Harry Potter books, but I can't do that right now. I'm a working man. Kind of. I have to put in some good hours so that they'll hire me at the end of this internship. I miss college so much, but I try not to dwell on the good times I took for granted - Halo 3 marathons and staying up until 3:00 with no repercussions. Time to be a grown up. [...]

Justice DJing at The Creator's Project ( more by Bryan Derballa ) French electronic duo Justice have teased with recent DJ appearances , but haven't scheduled any proper live dates for some time. That all changes with today's announcement of a world tour with ten select North American dates, including TWO in NYC at Terminal 5 on 3/16 and 3/17 . Tickets for the NYC shows are $40 and go on sale Friday. All dates, kicking off [...]

First the album, now the tour. Xavier de Rosnay & Gaspard Augé have announced a long awaited US tour in support of their sophomore LP Audio, Video, Disco . It’s hard to believe that it’s been over two years since Justice toured the US with a live show. We're hoping more dates will be announced soon...it's pretty lame that there's no LA date. It makes no sense. They’ve whipped up dance-savvy and chin-stroking rockers on dancefloors many times in the past and we'd love to witness some of that same frenetic energy in our hometown. Sadly, we [...]
Four long years after the debut † , French electro pair Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay return with their second album Audio, Video, Disco . Earlier this summer Justice re-introduced themselves with the track ‘Civilisation’. It turns out the song was a bridge, faithful to their original sound but alluded to a new direction. Audio, Video, Disco the album establishes that direction as a prog-rock-led take on their disco electro aesthetic. The overall sound is heavy and loud with '70s dad-rock band riffs. A few organs here, a little pan-pipe there, their experiment and [...]
There is no Justice left in the world.andnbsp; Not after this album.andnbsp; Much like the Childish Gambino miss, the new Justice album, was something I was fantasizing about . Yet the French cream seems

Filed under: News , New Music , Exclusive , RPM , Q + A Paul Heartfield "It means 'I Hear, I See, I Learn' in Latin," Xavier de Rosnay, one-half of the French electronic duo Justice , tells Spinner about the title of his group's brand-new sophomore album, 'Audio, Video, Disco.' "But the main reason we picked this title is because we thought it sounded cool, to be perfectly honest." It was a typical response [...]
Feeling like a classic from beginning to end, Audio, Video, Disco is a brilliant change-up from the brilliance of Cross, as well as a promising new direction for the band. It's been a long time coming. More or likely this is the sentiment of the fans of Justice, whose highly anticipated sophomore record has come four long years after the French duo dropped their phenomenal debut record Cross. That record, though by no means a complete revitalization of the house genre, took a genre that was in many ways getting old fast (Human After All, [...]
by Michael Waters A relatively upbeat selection of singles for you this week, the change of the seasons considered. As the October torrent of gigs crashes down on us in the UK, it’s easy to neglect the weekly tide of single releases lapping away. Here is a fairly arbitrary clutch of new titles; some will go unnoticed with good reason, others are tricks not to be missed. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds ‘AKA... What A Life!’ Fortunately distinct in [...]

"You've gotta credit them for making an album they wanted to make" , "At least it's not 'Cross' v2.03 and "you just dont get what they are trying to achieve" and a personal fave of mine... " It'll sound great in the club ". I thought I start with the excuses first... The return of Justice was always going to cause a little bit of excitement, because they filled a Daft Punk sized whole in many lives (including my own). They made a good choice with the [...]

You know you've made it big when, with each release, you have people wondering if a track is fake or not. Well, nonbelievers rejoice, 'tis a new Justice remix. There's been a whole lot of weird hype around Justice this year that I've mostly stayed away from, but there's no denying that the French duo is amazingly talented and have done wonders for the french house/nu disco genres. Their most recent remix of The Asteroids Galaxy Tour's Golden Age is an all-round feelgood track, reminiscent of Justice's earlier sounds with funky [...]
Justice - Audio, video, disco [...]

Here is this week's music singles chart for the week ending September 18 - 24. It's no surprise that I made this "big" band as my #1 song this week. It's on my iPod listening rotation and I think it's better than their last single. There are new debuts from Justice, No Joy and Zoo Legacy. A re-entry from Atlas Sound which they release another new single. Check out the Top 10. This Week Last [...]
Justice 's new video for 'Audio, Video, Disco', the title track of their new album to be unveiled on the 25th of October, could be interpreted as a paean to the music gods, in the way only this French duo could do it. I think so anyway. The song is rhythmically dynamic with compressed vocals. Watch the video below. Click here to view the embedded video.
Leave it to Justice to give us a weird version of the band-in-studio music video.
