In preparation to drop Acid , Jenny's been posting some not very amusing sketches to YouTube, featuring Ben Gibbard, Jonathan Rice, and actual music from the LP. So, yes "The Next Messiah"'s special sketch involves Ben Gibbard in a closet with a bunch of pink heart-shaped balloons that have Acid Tongue inscribed upon them. After that gets over with, you'll hear the song, which is far away from the gentle country and choral backings of the title track.
