The blogosphere has been abuzz recently with the video of Wilco's Jeff Tweedy choking an overly-excited fan who jumped on stage to plant a sloppy wet kiss on the singer: But the Tweedy incident is no new phenomenon. The classic Maysles brothers documentary " Gimme Shelter ," captures the stabbing of a black man at a Rolling Stones concert at Altamont Motor Speedway in California in 1969.
