Don Giovanni Records has announced the signing of Black Wine . The band features former The Ergs! guitarist Jeff Schroek, along with Miranda Taylor and J Nixon of Hunchback . The label explained the band's sound as "a mix of alternative and punk reminiscent of the early days of SST and Sub Pop" and added that the trio will be hitting the studio in the fall to record their debut, with a release expected by year's end.
