Theresa was raised in Sweden but has been based in New Orleans for over a decade. Check out the video of her making some music in her kitchen (where her album was recorded). She released her album Hummingbird, Go! last September and has an upcoming appearance on Conan Obrien (Feb. 4th). She's been talked about in Rolling Stone, Spin, and MTV Buzzworthy, and she's recently been in the studio with David Byrne so it sounds like she's on her way. Although Swedish-born New Orleans transplant Theresa Andersson uploaded an impromptu video performance of her tune "Na Na Na" on June 8, it has quickly passed 600,000 views and climbing. The reason? She plays everything herself, in her kitchen, using everything but the sink. "The kitchen sounds amazing, it has wonderful, natural reverb," Andersson explained.
