The Vaccines recently performed "If You Wanna" on Jimmy Kimmel Live . I caught the band at Escape To New York a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed their set, although I thought there was a potential break up on stage - I was wrong. Currently promotion their debut album over in the states, The Vaccines dropped by the stage of Jimmy Kimmel to put in a performance of their single "If You Wanna". The boys have a busy few months ahead of them with sets at Reading and Leeds Festival next weekend before touring the states with Tennis and the UK in November with Arctic Monkeys. Their debut What Did You Expect From the Vaccines? is out now if you like what you see above and want to get your teeth firmly into their raw energy.

I'm not sure that the American public has bought the hype around new Brit hopes the Vaccines, but late night talk show music bookers certainly have, as the group has hit a late night show for another performance of "If You Wanna." Last night they hit Kimmel's program wearing Lakers jackets and their own T-shirt (don't be that guy), and rocking sweetly. I was pretty thoroughly unimpressed when I saw the group at SXSW, and this performance does nothing to change that. Sorry NME.

The Vaccines , fresh off the release of debut album What Did You Expect From the Vaccines? , made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, bringing their garage-rock sound to late night television. Accompanied by a flashy light show, the British rock outfit impress with a bright, energetic performance of "If You Wanna". The band's 2011 tour dates with chillwave duo  Tennis and fellow Brits Arctic Monkeys can be found after the break.

In an era where The Ramones no longer churn out energetic, four-chord pop-punk hits with factory precision, it's nice to know that garage rock revivalists  The Vaccines are trying to fill that void. Last night, the London outfit brought their colorful sound to Jimmy Kimmel Live! to play "If You Wanna", off their debut release What Did You Expect From the Vaccines?
