Somethings different. Their last album was almost too quirky, very experimental and even tribal and the new album has been injected with a kind of Underground Pop sound! We love it. When we heard the first single Ambling Alp in November we knew something was up. Back in 2007, I heard about this hot new band from BK called Yeasayer. I devoured it, shared it, savored it and regurgitated it. It was fresh and different and I couldn't believe it was coming from some apartment in Brooklyn, NY. It's been a couple years now and whenever I listen to All Hour Cymbals, I still get chills. Save for " Tightrope ," it's been a while since we've heard anything from Yeasayer beyond its members' cameos (SMD, B4L), production work, and remixes. That'll change in early 2010 (not 2080) when the Brooklyn releases LP2 Odd Blood . (Still no artwork, but with a title like that, we're hoping for something appropriately evocative.)
