I just got an email linking me to yet another remix of a Passion Pit song, this time for "Sleepyhead" -- a song that probably doesn't need any more remixes. Skepticism at first turned to slight amusement (at the ridiculous video), which then evolved into complete approval. In the email, Gal Moore (aka Jazzsteppa ) said he felt the song needed a dubstep remix: "As a dubstep producer; hav 2 keep it fresh." It sounds more like a Celtic remix than dubstep (reminding me of The Knife's "Parade" from their self-titled debut), but [...]
