The Black Ghosts will be dropping When Animals Stare on August 1st courtesy of the fine folks at Southern Fried Records, and for the title track's video, the boys have elected to treat us to a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the album's artwork. Not exactly "high concept," but at least it doesn't detract from the nice slinky post-funk workout that is When Animals Stare .

Ever wondered how you create a 10 foot The Black Ghosts logo in 1 day? This video shows the band's member Theo painting their logo which formed part of the artwork for their new album "When Animals Stare". It features the song, "Talk No More". The LP is coming on August 1 but you can already stream some of the tracks on the SoundCloud sampler. In case you didn't know, these guys were previously part of Simian .
