Ed ecco che incomincia a prendere forma il nuovo progetto discografico di Mariah Carey , quello costituito dai remix dei pezzi contenuti nel suo ultimo album di studio. Il nuovo disco prende il nome di “Angels Advocate” e viene trainato dal singolo apripista "Angels Cry (remix)" cantato in collaborazione con Ne-Yo (vi facciamo ascoltare il contributo audio dopo la pausa). La nuova versione non ha molto di differente rispetto all'originale: il pezzo rimane comunque una ballata r&b, ovviamente con l'aggiunta della voce di Ne-Yo la quale riesce a conferire alla canzone qualche punto in più.
