Friday, October 9, 2009 There's literally nothing being released this week to the great audiences of non-limited release America, and that which is, is, well, not terribly pretty. Hell, the goodness that usually festoons within limited release land is pretty scarce as well. Luckily, the lady I love, sick as a dog she is, decided to do some armchair critiquing from her sickbed. This looks like a good film, I mention it because I'm a tiny bit in love with Carey Mulligan, watch an interview with her here . She is 24 I think, but she sounds like she's been possessed by a Dame Judy Dench. .

Usually, by late September, I can pull together a rough set of predictions, but after reports from the Toronto and Venice Film Festivals, all I have are sketches, a few scattered hopefuls.
