Vampire Weekend is all over the music blogsphere right now, so I thought I'd show them some love by featuring their new music video for "Mansard Roof". The white color rockers will be releasing their self-titled debut through XL Recordings in digital, CD, and vinyl on January 29th, 2008. P.S. One could describe the music of the brooklyn based duo, Ish , as intelligent indie rock. Their combination of choice instruments, interesting vocal melodies, and clever transitions make their music most premium. I don't know whether it's the use of the children's vocal sample or the unexpected blaring horns that make the hook to "What Is It?" so memorable, but each time this track ends, my only thought is....
