I have been in quite the Yuck mood lately, and that's a good thing. Something about the band's sound reminds me of a time years ago when bands like Sebadoh, Superchunk, and Sonic Youth dominated the modern rock scene. Check out this episode of Room 205 featuring Yuck performing "Milkshake' visually hinting at that time as well.

Despite not having made it into the album, "Milkshake" stands as my favorite Yuck song. The UK band recently brought the track to Room 205, laying out all its sweet and melancholy moves with a little bit of distortion. Until Yuck's appearance in Room 205, most of the clips from the series have used pretty straightforward direction, relying on the setting and the performance to create a captivating watch. For this video for "Milkshake," we get some of the most interesting visuals yet to appear in the series. Not that the song needs it, but it sure is nice to look at.
