While watching the above clip of my wife debuting part two of "Empire State Of Mind" last night during a live performance in Tribeca, I began to reflect on what made New York so great to so many. After much reflection (about 12 seconds), it dawned on me that unlike many cities NY spins well. New Yorkers are a proud people. Proud of damn near everything. Big, small, good bad, name it.
