The Shoes contrariou todo o clima dançante da faixa "Time to Dance" , extraída do mais recente álbum Crack My Bones de 2011. [...]
Everywhere as of yesterday, fantastical song, bloody fantastical video.
French production duo the Shoes might not be known to most, save for those electrophiles out there, but their new video for the song "Time To Dance" shows that they have some well deserved credibility to their name. The video features none other than Jake Gyllenhaal in a role that seems fitting to his well known portrayal of Donnie Darko. Donned in a fencing outfit, Gyllenhaal takes the sport to a highly unsafe level, preferring to spar with and kill unarmed fashionistas and fashionistos. The creepy and disturbing nine-minute video was directed by Daniel Wolfe. Check it out above (via [...]

What the fuck did I just watch? And when is the movie coming out? I have to admit, Jake Gyllenhaal as Hispter Killer was... spectacular. Thanks The Shoes for an interesting eight and a half minutes. Also bravo, you definitely got my and everyone else's attention on your album Crack My Bones who hasn't listened to it before. Remixes to be expected. The Shoes - Time To Dance
French electronic outfit The Shoes went big on their video for "Time To Dance," enlisting the acting talents of Jake Gyllenhaal to create perhaps the greatest video of the year. In his most twisted role since Donnie Darko, Gyllenhaal stars as a chain-smoking serial killer in London with an insatiable hunger for murder. This isn't Gyllenhaal's first step in the world of music videos, having featured prominently in Vampire Weekend's amazing video for "Giving Up The Gun." I think this one takes the cake, though. You're going to have to set aside eight minutes for this one, but it's absolutely [...]

It really is time to dance. Past time in fact. Let's do it. Also, slo-mo cat's playing and remote controlled women. But also Angus Stone's wonderful music, despite a so-so video. -Matt
