Last night, Best Coast , who are just pretty much everywhere lately, appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman with "Each and Every Day," which, by my count, is the 80th single from Crazy For You . Beast Coast "Each and Every Day" live on Letterman last night. At first I thought her voice seemed tired, but she really saved it at the end. Solid performance.

Best Coast brought a crazed rendition of "Each and Every Day" to Letterman last night, instead of the usual "Boyfriend" or "When I'm With You." Though a personal fave off of Crazy For You , the live version sounded a bit out of breath and all over the place -- was it nerve, Bethany? Or maybe that's what happens when you can't hide behind reverb and harmonies. On a side note, why is David Letterman so cute?? Him talking about kitties gets me every time. [...]

I just watched Best Coast play on Letterman. It seems like Letterman doesn't have enough 'indie buzzbands' in his rolodex so it takes him forever to get relevant buzzbands on his show. Or maybe the music industry is 'running out of acts' so they need as many random indie bands as possible 2 fill up the last 5 minutes Anyways, Best Coast went on Letterman, and they sounded kinda grungy. Not very fuzzy buzzy. Bethany sounded pretty alright, but other 2 members looked 'danked out of their minds. [...]

I'd say it's a safe bet that this was the best day of Bethany's life, given that she got to play Letterman and the host went out of his way to point out Snacks on the cover of the album. [via CoS]

Bethany Cosentino of Best Coast has been making some famous friends lately, but sadly Mr. Bieber didn't choose to join her on this lively run through of "Each and Everyday" from Crazy For You on David Letterman's show last night (Jan. 31). This is a great demonstration of everything this band does so well—fuzzed up guitar melodies draped over a saccharine pop structure and Cosentino showing what a powerful voice she has. Letterman even indulges Cosentino in some cat talk at the end, which will no doubt appease rabid fans of her feline flavored Twitter [...]

Last night, before the Best Coast aired on Letterman, NPR hosted a live broadcast of a Best Coast/Wavves show at the 9:30 Club in DC. But this actually happened after her NYC performance at The David Letterman show, in real time. Wrap your head around the space-time continuum, and you'll gather that it was quite a day for Bethany Cosentino and her SoCal band.
