• Ladytron - Ghosts (Toxic Avenger mix)

Some bands are undefinable because they seem to have little elements in them of other genres or bands. Ladytron on the other hand are undefineable because they smash through genres leaving a bloody trail of wannabes and one hit wonders in their wake. Their new album, Velocifero is out on June 6th and I'm really looking forward to it. The first single, "Black Cat", is where the goth scene should have gone years ago instead of dredging the bottom of the rave barrel for inspiration. It's all brooding synths and fuzzy [...]

We were taken by the heavy, sinister buzz of Ladytron's " Black Cat ," so how about their over-sized rabbit? The video for new Velocifero track finds the sharp-dressed gals and guys navigating a dusty desert(ed) landscape that includes plenty of shots of old shacks, cars, tires and the like, a friendly coyote, games of chicken, short skirts, high heels, long legs, and in a pivotal role, lots more of those aforementioned bunnies. The desert is where Ladytron hang in this new video for their track "Ghosts." They drive in a car, there's dead bodies in the road and a wolf runs around and stuff. Good times.
