Next Thursday will be mental in Dublin! Here's what's going on! Most of these bands will be doing 20 minute sets. Tickets for the pubs only gets you in before 7pm. Dublin's The Chapters are set to give fans the chance to hear a sneak preview of their debut album when they take to the stage of The Academy on Thursday, April 30. After a nightmare 2008, the five-piece finally have their debut album, Perfect Stranger , ready for release on June 5. Tickets, priced at €12.50 including booking fee, are now on sale. Starting a new feature, where I'll highlight some of the great bands and musicians in Ireland today. First off here's The Chapters. Featured them in the second playlist so if you like this song you can download the song from there. They're currently working on their debut album and have released a 4 song ep which is really good. They also have a number of songs available to download on their MySpace so check them out. Excellent songs and a very exciting band for the future.
