First things first I've been highly skeptical of Dum Dum Girls when I first heard of their names. The lo-fi powerpop (girl band) revival led by Slumberland artists - and most notably the Vivian Girls - alongside acts like Wavves made Dum Dum Girls sound like a mere bandwagon jumper.
