The title track from last year's Beirut LP The Rip Tide finally gets the seafaring video of Zach Condon's dreams. It's directed by Houmam Abdallah and comes with an explanatory note from Mr. Condon - though the most important note of all for the impatient is to sit tight until the three minute mark. Having just watched Terrence Malick's 'Days of Heaven' and being spellbound by some of the imagery, this new Beirut video perfectly spills into my morning with more beautiful eye candy. I know that I've hit the back button on the track form the album that bears the same name more times than I care to admit - I've got a feeling I'll be doing the same with this video. Enjoy!

It's been about a year since Beirut dropped their fourth album The Rip Tide and they're still dropping gorgeous videos for it. This time, for the album's title track, it's a solitary boat sailing through the sea as wonderfully-simplistic yet beautifully-striking imagery is being played out above the horizon. Beirut have unveiled the video for the title track to their latest album 'The Rip Tide' . The band, who performed at this year's Field Day , uploaded the video to YouTube today - and you can watch it above. Beirut are in the middle of a number of live dates, and are also set to head over to the UK for a short tour in September. Details here .
