The Cave Singers are a band I'm surprised more people aren't talking about. For some reason or another, I missed the Cave Singers' last trip through Phoenix (with Black Mountain, I think), so I'm happy to see they are returning for a May 17 date at Modified in Phoenix. Last week I mentioned that I had never heard the Cave Singers record, but after being told of the band's greatness, I decided to give Invitation Songs a run.
